			<description><![CDATA[ Chesterfield Cinema 3 in the old Chesterfield Mall ( now  Premier  Lanes) on 23 mile rd. I use to live across the road from there and seen so many movies while
growing up. In the  first theater right under the screen after any given film there was always a pile of combos, JuJu Beads and chewed up wax bottles. The
floors were always sticky. However, it was never as bad as the day after the midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Lakeside Mall. Eggshells,
toilet paper, rice,... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ The Nortown Theater was located on 7 Mile, near Van Dyke.  I spent a lot of Saturdays at the double features there in the mid/late 60's and early 70'.  It showed everything from &quot;Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte,&quot; &quot;The Guillotine,&quot; and &quot;Children of the Damned&quot; to &quot;The Love Bug,&quot; and The Beatles &quot;Help.&quot;  I remember there was a cartoon feature in the middle also. 			<description><![CDATA[ I didn't see a thread about this and I don't know if anyone commented on this but, we were driving by the Dearborn Showcase Theater today and noticed it was closed up. Way, way back when it was the Dearborn Theater it was the movie place of my youth. I grew up in that area and have alot of memories of seeing some great movies there as a kid. They used to have that big marquee that stuck out over the front walk, had the cushy circular couch in the middle of the lobby that was done in dark red,... ]]></description>
