In the early 60's there was a local teen dance show on Channel 7 called "Club 1270" and stared Lee Alan and Joel Sebastian. David Prince was a fill during the early years and then became the star when both Alan and Sebastian left. Between 1964 and late 1965 I was a regular on the show. Some of the Motown talent were regular guests on the show as well as many of the national stars who sang their hit song. One of my most fond memories of that show was buring the taping of the Halloween show in 1964. Cassius Clay (Muhammed Ali) was a guest on the show. He and Alan got into a pre-arranged argument and Clay stormed off the set as was his schtick during that time. I was dressed as a werewolf and when Clay walked past me I bared my teeth and growled at him. He laughed and acted like he was scared, shook my hand and walked away.
